What is Transaction simulation?
Transaction simulation estimates how a proposed transaction may execute against a particular view of system state. It can reveal likely failures or effects, but it cannot guarantee that state, ordering, fees, or execution conditions will remain unchanged before the real transaction is processed.
Use simulation as one input to validation, not as proof of a future outcome. Educational fixtures are even narrower: they demonstrate application logic with generated data and are not chain simulations, receipts, or settlement evidence.
State can change between simulation and execution, and providers may simulate against incomplete or stale data. Revalidate authorization and transaction invariants immediately before any real signing or broadcast.
